Sourdough fermentor
Description
Versatile cup with lid
Functions as fermenter lid, measuring cup and storage container. Markings on the side of the cup (cups/grams and milliliters) help you accurately measure water and flour each time you feed the starter. The cup covering the jar allows airflow and helps strengthen the live cultures in your starter starter.
Starter storage
When stored safely in the versatile lidded cup, your sourdough starter is always ready for your upcoming baking. To ensure the starter never starves, use a fermentation clock to mark the time of the last feeding. If you store the starter at room temperature, feed it once a day, if you store it in the refrigerator, feed it once a week.
Rubber band
Mark the starting level of the starter before rising. You will see when the starter has doubled and is ready to bake.
Storage lid
Attach the capping disc to the sourdough starter ring to cover the glass container for storing starter or other ferments you want to keep in the refrigerator.
Measuring tape
Easy to use 5ml spoon for weighing salt, flour or water when feeding the starter. The shape makes it easy to wipe the spoon after mixing the starter.
Glass jar
Wide-mouth glass jar is easy to use and clean. Glass is a non-reactive material that does not interact with the fermentation process, retains its taste and prevents contamination. The transparency allows effective monitoring of the fermentation process.
