Peat Heat Bottle

The classic shape of the heating bottle filled with a natural peat mixture guarantees temperature retention for several times longer than classic water-filled thermophores. Its easy preparation and application make it particularly suitable for home use.

A textile cover made of 100% cotton is included to prevent initial thermal shock. Once heated to the desired temperature (50-60 °C), we recommend testing the temperature by touch before applying the pad to the affected area.

The thermophore is suitable for heat therapy in subacute and chronic conditions of rheumatic origin, non-inflammatory joint pain, stiff muscles, joints and spine, abdominal pain, menstrual problems, etc. The thermophore can also be cooled and used as a cold therapy for swelling, inflammation, bumps, headaches and for normal cooling during sultry days. Caution do not use in pain of inflammatory origin, in circulatory disorders, in febrile conditions!

Instructions for use:

• Microwave heating: maximum 3 minutes at 600 watts. Turn off the grill function!
• Heating in gas, hot-air and electric ovens: place the product on a porcelain plate (it must not touch the oven walls) and heat for a maximum of 10 minutes at 150 °C.
• Heating in a water bath: it is best to use a heating device with temperature control. Place the product in a container of cold water, heat the water to approx. 80 °C, then switch off the heating and allow the pad to warm up in the water bath for a further 5-10 minutes. Then remove and dry. The water must not boil!

DO NOT LEAVE THE PRODUCT UNATTENDED WHILE HEATING!

Cold application: place the product without the cotton cover in the refrigerator for approx. 2 hours. Do not put the product in the freezer!

Important notice:

The product is laboratory tested. No adverse effects have been observed in contact with the skin. If the peat mixture enters the eye, rinse thoroughly with cold water. In case of allergies or skin sensitivity to the materials used, consult your physician before use.
